You may notice that I refer to using roasted red peppers in several of my recipes.  You can buy jars of  "Fire Roasted Red Peppers" at nearly any store.  These red peppers can vary greatly in pricing depending where you purchase them.  I have seen them as much a $4 a jar.  I have found that your local Dollar Tree sells them.  In my book, $1 beats $4 all to heck.
